THE SIMS
PAGE III
The Sims are once again asleep and as such, the game fast-forwards, up
to the point where the fire once again becomes out of control. Barbara
Buttblast wakes up to find herself in a tight walled off room with a
raging fire. She pees herself again.

This time there will be no failure.

The Grim Reaper is invigorated by the offering I have bestowed upon him.

Okay, now that Barbara Buttblast's neighbour-slapping days are over, I
can concentrate on beefing up the old relationship.
But first, I decide to beef up the little chamber of fire, and RED ROOM
is born.

It takes all day, but I manage to get Ying and Wilma to fall for each
other, and finally they come to a point where they come to me, their
saviour who has delivered them from the Barbara and ask permission if
they can have a child.
I am well pleased by their reverence, and they allow me to name their
new baby girl.

So now, little Hellspawn is born. But by now, Ying and Wilma have led a
full day and must sleep.

I instruct them to get their rest, and they now are comfortable enough
to share a bed. Immediately upon getting in bed, little Hellspawn
begins crying. They're too exhausted (and in another room) to hear the
baby's pleas. I receive a warning that the baby is being neglected.

Then, the game fast-forwards as the family sleeps. Hours later, it's
deemed that the baby is in poor hands. A Child Services Agent comes by
and takes the baby.
However, she didn't reckon on the awesome power of the Tom.
No sooner has she grasped the child, she finds that the only exit has
been closed off.

I tried every conceivable way to kill her, but unfortunately it doesn't
seem possible. If she's trapped for too long, she teleports. I
re-loaded and re-played the game several times to try to catch her in
the flames and nothing was successful.
The problem was this: When a fire is raging, the game comes to a halt
and you can't build or buy anything until the fire is out. If the agent
gets stuck for a long period of time she teleports. So I needed to keep
her moving in the direction of an exit until a fire could overtake her.
But once a fire starts, I can't move the exits around so I need to keep
a fire somehow between her and the exit. So I try this:

When that doesn't work, after a lot of trial and error I get it down to
this:

Still not enough. She manages to teleport once again.

It's easy to see my attempts to defeat her are futile. My efforts
should perhaps be saved for the neighbours. With a sigh, I admit defeat
and surrender my baby to "Sylvia"
I should note that the makers of this game should have included a
feature or cheat that allows you to be able to kill Child Services
agents.
